About Snow Day Score
What we actually do differently
Our approach is built around named data sources, transparent explanations, and publicly tracked outcomes. First, every data source is named, not vaguely described as "advanced weather modeling."
Second, once the accuracy system is live, predictions will be logged against verified outcomes and published on an ongoing basis, including the misses.
Third, the core prediction tool can be used without providing your name, email address, or creating an account, just a city or postal code, because a snow day check shouldn't require a sign-up

Why we publish our reasoning, not just a number

Get in touch
Questions, corrections, or a school district policy we should know about? Reach us through the contact page. If you're a district administrator willing to share your district's actual closure thresholds, we'd genuinely like to hear from you, since real, named policy data is what makes this whole site more useful than a generic percentage
